UPDATE!
I've Decided to narrow my topic down to abstract art(painting). It seems to be the style that intrsts me most.
I like the style of these paintings!
http://artstyleonline.com/design/freedom-of-abstract-art/</span>

What is abstract art??
-Hannah's Definition: crazy painting
-Beth's Definition: Abstrasct Art is Something that Is not Ordinary, something Unique
-Ava's Definition:
abstract art is any art that does not have a certain or fixed, meaning. Everyone has to enterperate -abstract art for themselves
-Charlie's Definition:
i think that it is art that can look like many different things depending on how you look at it
-Kaylene's Definition:
art that is "different"
-Taylor W.'s Definition:
art that is formed without being a particular image - like not a drawing of the sunset
-Ally's Definition:
abstract art is any art that isnt specific- like it doesnt have a certain shape, color, or media. or any art that represents something without using objects (or whatever else would be in the art) that have a name
-Carlee's Definition
the ability to express your self through colors hehe i like colors...
-Tyler's Definition:
stupidly weird random paint sashed on aperfectly good campus
-Eric's Definition:
art that portrays non realistic shapes and elements
-Taylor G's Definition: abstract art is random art, just like a bunch of strokes and color thrown together to make something random that people think is coool for some reason.
-Matt S.'s Definition:
Abstract Art is art which sometimes doesn't always take the viewer straight to the reason of the painting, or it is a work of art that is "jumbled" or without order making the painting or drawing more appealing than a regular picture. Collage is a type of abstract art.
-John's Definition: Anything that does not look normal and is suposed to be that way
-bryan's definition:

art that can have different meanings for each person that notices it
-Lizzie's Definition-A piece of art that is unique, and not neccesarily like reqular art, it is its own thing. It looks totally different, and you may think it is strange, but it holds secret beauty
-Erik's Definition- I define abstract art as the twisting and manipulation of a reality to form a completely unrecognizable product.
-Conner's Definition: art that has differnt colors and shapes and different stuff
-Mrs. Lloyd's Definition: consider abstract art to be that which is a blend of realistic and symbolic images...often an allegory for a concept
-Brian's Definition:I think it is art that makes no sense
-
Abstract art used to be a free art, I mean with no censorship. But, in fact, it has a lot of limits, such as: abstract-geometric and cubistic bounds, relation between expression and form, modern paintings have no conflict between abstract art and figurative art.

FIANL PROJECT STUFF!!
-
art that does not depict objects in the natural world, but instead uses colour and form in a non-representational way
-
Kazimir Malevich, Black square 1915
-I hav e-mailed Lynne Taetzsch asker opinion on the subject of abstract art andwhere she gets ger inspiration, I am eagerly awaiting her reply

UPDATE!!!!!!!

so i got a reply from that artist I e-mailed, this is what she said-
"My inspiration comes from life and everything in it--all the art I have ever seen, the music I hear, the nature around me. When I paint, I listen to loud music--everything from rock and roll to blues to jazz or classical, and that is my immediate inspiration"
she has also written two essays on the deffinition of abstract art:
http://artbylt.com/definingabstractart.htm</span>
http://artbylt.com/abstractnew.htm</span>
they're really informitive, read them and look at some of her work, she's really good-
